My Project

The FORTUNO Magnetic Mobile Whiteboard 48"x36", Rolling Double Sided Dry Erase Board will enhance the facilitation of the curriculum that I try hard to do without a visual. My classroom is a place where the students are eager to learn and no two students learn the same. I try to make sure that when delivering daily lessons I am able to reach every student learning style by incorporating different tools. This white board will give students the opportunity to participate and be engaged expanding on the knowledge that they obtain in lessons. The white board has been chosen with all students on my mind. I have watched my students sit idle because the lesson was being taught without visuals. Students will be able to practice writing skills and actually see lessons as they are taught.

Every item from the sensory mats to the fruit snacks will help my students to focus while in class.

I place great emphasis on students needing nutrition throughout the long day, because our lunch is at 10 o'clock in the morning and many of the students cry of hunger by 1:00 p.m. The sensory mats are a benefit to any early learning environment. I will use the sensory mats in our calming corner, the mats will allow students to explore their personal sensory needs and adjust their emotions to rejoin the group. Lastly, the books will either begin a reading rich foundation or continue one. Students will be able to chose books on their reading level, they can listen to their peers or teacher or they can read to themselves while in the calming corner. The books will continue to enhance the print rich environment which will increase the reading possibility of the students.
