Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These math books will help my middle school scholars decrease math gaps and increase academic achievements in math due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. According to the Arizona Academic Standards Assessment, these scholars are 2 to 4 years behind in math.
However, these books will help my scholars get on grade level for the 2023-2024 school year and be proficient in math.
I will use these math books in small groups to help engage scholars in a fun learning environment that will drive teacher directed instructions and guided practice. Scholars will have an opportunity to understand math concepts step by step visually as they lean new math concepts this year.
