My Project

Every year as a teacher of speech improvement/speech-language pathologist I try to bring something new to the table for my students to experience. Many have never even heard of archeology or the concept of digging for "treasure" in the form of fossils, stones, minerals, and gemstones. Help me present my students with a fun and new approach to speech therapy through the use of archeology and gemstones.

Give my students an opportunity to learn something new while having fun.

They are hard workers and deserve to continue working on their speech/classroom goals in a fun manner.

Help me let their creativity flow and provide them with something new to talk about, communicate about, describe, answer questions about, have opportunities to take turns with a peer during, and so much more. Help me bring smiles to my students of varying grades, skill levels, and places in life.

I'm excited to show them the fun of excavating our gemstones and learning about their origins, comparing the differences, and so much more.
