Everything You Need to Know You Learn in Pre-K!

Help me give my students the tools they need to begin their school careers; including ink and lamination for social stories and crayons and coloring books to develop their fine motor skills!

My Students

My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.

All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together every day to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about 75 special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore and play.

My Project

Our community continues to be impacted by the Flint Water Crisis. Lead can cause changes in brain development and can make it difficult for children to learn. As a result, we are adding many new students to our special education Pre-K programs. Our new students are absolutely amazing in every way and these kids and their families deserve the very best.

The most important learning happens in Pre-K.

Pre-K is where a love of learning is developed, and with a love of learning, every child can soar!

My preschool special education students need crayons and early learning activity books to help them develop specific learning skills. Many of my students' parents struggled in school themselves, but continue to want to help their own child do the very best they can at school! One of the ways I can support my students' parents to be able to help their children learn is to provide age-appropriate crayons and activity books to each family so they can learn together. The ink and lamination will be used to write age-appropriate and child specific books to help each child transition into Pre-K. These stories specifically support students with special needs, helping them to understand their environment, including their new classroom! With your help, my amazing little ones will have all the specific tools they need to reach their individual learning goals!
