it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a fourth year early childhood special education teacher in a pre-school collaborative classroom. My students are young learners with various abilities. They thrive on active, hands-on, engaging activities that challenge them to think. My young scholars come to school with excitement and ready to grow both academically and personally. My students are such a joy to teach!
I am determined to challenge my students on a daily basis while making it enjoyable.
My Project
We currently only have a printer with black ink in my classroom.
A color printer would be a perfect way to add to each of the student’s programs with clear color pictures!
Until now, I have not been able to purchase a color printer since they are very expensive.
Having a color printer in the classroom will allow my students to have access to color pictures for their individual educational needs. Whether they will be using the pictures for school or home, the color pictures provided by the color printer will greatly enhance their day-to-day educational programs.
In our pre-school collaborative classroom, my students rely heavily on the use of pictures for visuals to access our curriculum and daily schedule. Thus, with the use of this color printer, our students will have much needed additional support to aide them in meeting their individualized educational program goals.
