This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a Title I elementary school with a population of students mostly from different countries. The majority of our students come from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Cuba. The majority of them have never been in a school setting or have had any type of formal classroom experience. These students are economically disadvantaged and having the essential tools needed to learn will motivate them to be successful learners.

These chair pockets would be used to help students organize their classroom materials. In this project, you will also find plastic bins. We will be using them to organize math manipulatives for centers. I am also adding 2 sets of plastic bags which I will be using to store their headphones and avoid all the cable mess.
All of these materials will make the classroom look nice and neat and they will also help my students with their organizational skills.
