This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is the first normal year that our scholars have been able to enjoy a classroom environment without restrictions. Many of these items will be used in the classroom and recess to foster social interactions with each other. Social emotional learning is vital after COVID-19 to ensure growing minds have the emotional support of their peers. Some of these items also allow for independence at their desk without having to leave the classroom to take breaks from learning.

Many scholars need social emotional learning more than ever after COVID-19 restrictions and isolation.

This project will help our classroom grow together while fostering a level of care with diversity.
