My students need LEGOs, snap cubes, and wooden blocks for designing. They also need chart tape to make dry erase table into graph paper.

My Students
My students are amazing. They are constantly coming up with new and innovative ways to create projects. Students work in groups to complete projects and rotate supervisor positions to help manage their individual skills.
My students are eager to explore the world and technologies in the classroom.
In my classroom my students live by the quote, "Design. Build. Transform." We are always looking for new and innovative ways to explore technology and the world around us.
I teach middle school Technology Education to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. We are a public school. There are approximately 120 students in each grade level. Technology Education classes are required for all grades. We also offer two elective classes for 7th and 8th grade students.
My Project
Students will work in groups to use the design process to create new and innovative solutions to problems. Before they can design they need to understand how to create and read orthographic and multi-view drawings. The LEGOs, snap cubes, and blocks will allow them to build and make drawings to explore drafting and understand how to make 2-dimensional drawings of a 3-dimensional shape.
We will use the chart tape to make our dry erase board into a graph so that they can you the graph to plot their drawings.
Students do not have much space or many resources to explore Technology Education.
By giving them this opportunity you will be helping them up to envision a whole new world of engineering.
