My Project

A carrying case is a critical tool for students with non-speaking autism who rely on a communication device, as it ensures the device is protected, portable, and accessible at all times. With a durable and easy-to-carry case, students can bring their communication system with them throughout the school day—whether transitioning between classrooms, going to recess, or attending therapy sessions. This consistent access supports language development, autonomy, and participation across academic and social settings. Without a proper carrying case, the risk of damage or leaving the device behind increases, limiting the student’s ability to communicate and engage meaningfully with others.
