Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am in a general education classroom and sponsor our school's winter sports and cheerleading team. I love what I do like any other teacher in the school or district. So many of my students struggle financially and miss out on trying new things such as Cheerleading, which is a large part of social skills, showing school spirit, and simply having fun!
Help us kick-start our Winter Cheerleading season with the items in this project!
This project will allow my Cheerleading team to have leadership and look like a team as well.
I believe my students would feel confident in their bows and bags and not compare themselves to their peers who don't struggle in the same ways. I believe the grades would improve, as well as motivation!
