My Project
My goal is to make the day-to-day learning experiences of my students smoother. Each of my students deserves to have the items needed for smooth learning every day. Having items like whiteboards means my students will always have easy access to working out the steps to a math problem when it arises or writing down new words when learning reading.
Individual headphones also allow students to stay more focused on independent work on their laptops, especially when the room can get noisy when several groups are working.
Additionally, having chair pockets would make transitions and keeping up with items much easier.
I also envision my classroom as a comfy and safe space for students to learn, so having floor cushions for students would give them more places where they can choose to do their work or find a nice space to read or write in the morning and throughout the day.
