My Project
My students love books! I am hoping to create a listening center where children can independently select stories to listen to and follow along with. My students enjoy daily read-a-louds. They love to spend time looking at books independently and sharing books with friends. We all know that reading to children is one of the most important activities for developing the knowledge and success in reading. The addition of a listening center in my classroom will allow more opportunities for my students to be engaged in the reading. What a great opportunity to build a life long love of learning!
