This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Kindergartners are extraordinary! Most of my kiddos are entering school for the first time. They represent various cultures and come from different backgrounds. Being five is an exciting time, they begin to learn more about themselves and the world around them. My students are always excited about school. They are the joy of the class and motivate me to seek out the best for them.
Set aside the many challenges my students face every day, they are some of the most loving, hardworking, and happiest kids.
My school is in downtown Phoenix and 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Due to low funding, it can get difficult to obtain everyday supplies we need in kindergarten. My students are eager to learn, they deserve to have the resources need to help them succeed.
My Project
In kindergarten, we are always learning and active. My students are in much need of everyday school supplies to use during the school year. The materials I am requesting will be use on a daily basis without a doubt.
My students deserve a hands-on education.
Like most five-year-old kiddos, they are still developing many skills. The jumbo crayons will not only help them with class work and art activities; it will also help them develop their find motor skills. The dry erase markers and mini erasers will be use in small group, large group, and independent practice for all subject areas. Glue sticks are necessary in kindergarten for everyday projects. These materials will help us be prepare for any lesson or activity throughout the school year. Thank you in advance for your generosity and in making this school year successful.
