My Project

Kindergarten students learn best through doing! When children create, they explore materials and techniques, share ideas, and discuss their process. These are all important habits of mind for learning at any age.

I am asking for supplies that will enable every day arts instruction, both guided and student led.

Craft wire and muslin provide myriad opportunities for makers and artists to experiment. Origami paper supports fine motor development (so important for young learners!) and lets children practice and progress so that they develop pride in their efforts and creations. Of course, sharp scissors and a good supply of glue sticks are key for any classroom arts and crafts.
