My Students
I have the great pleasure of working with students with unique and special needs. My students work hard and they are eager to learn and succeed and would like to prepare for college, even though they have learning differences. In my classroom, I work with each student individually and in small groups to help them develop math skills and prepare for the future.
My Project
My students have math to do, both at home and school. The students who are learning from home are at a distinct disadvantage because we only have class sets of calculators in our classrooms. When students are I’ll or quarantined, they do better if they have access to the same tools at home that we use at school. Having a good calculator like the ones that are used in class will go a long ways towards making it easier for students to keep up with their assignments and complete the required daily work.
