Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My special education students come to school eager to learn every day! 100% of the students at my school receive a free breakfast and lunch daily. Many of them receive food backpacks on Fridays to provide snacks during the weekend. The majority of my kids speak English as their second language. Our school is considered a high poverty school due to the low income levels of families.

My students have a lot of obstacles to overcome, but they are determined to succeed!

I wouldn't trade my students or my school for anything else.

My Project

My students will love developing their reading skills while playing this highly engaging game with their peers and family members!

My students will practice this game at school and then will take a set to play at home with their family members and friends!

Parents want the best educational outcomes for their students. They want to support their learning at home. They lack the resources and knowledge of ways they can help their students become more successful. This game will provide parents opportunities to be involved in their students' education without requiring any special materials or training!

I have 10 students that will greatly benefit from this project. I'm requesting a set for each of them to take home. I'm also requesting a set for the classroom so that I can model correct use before students take their sets home for personal use.
