My Students
What is Kindergarten without time up close with the teacher on the rug/ carpet listening to stories, playing games, and using the interactive board? We have a rug, but it has seen better days and lacks the classroom management benefits of this one, with a spot for each child to call their own.
My students (even though I don't know the new year's group yet!) are always passionate about diving into learning.
They are also for the most part brand new to school and being around so many new people! I'd love to have a rug for them to sit on that will give them each their own space, which will match their table colors, making their day more predictable and kinder-friendly!
My Project
I am requesting a rug that is large enough for 20+ students to sit on - all on their own colored spot. There are five rows of six spots, so every child can have a space, and there can be space in between some for my wigglers. :) The five colors will match the colors for each table in my classroom - and the kids can rotate through the row to mix things up a little every week! So much better than what I have now!
For a young teacher like myself, buying this rug of my dreams (yes, I had a dream about it!) is impossible financially.
You can make my dream reality and make each school day a little easier and more fun for my students. Please help!
