Help me give my students a variety of equipment to maximize development of motor and social skills while encouraging a love of being active and healthy.

My Project

This equipment will help provide a variety of activities that allow students to practice problem-solving through play. I like to maximize the time students get to be active during their very limited two 45-minute class periods per week through stations. Students get to practice specific skills sets aligned with state standards and develop at their own pace.

My students are very creative with the equipment we currently have, but with normal wear and tear our supplies have dwindled.

The floor spots not only help organize and provide spatial awareness during larger class activities but can be used in smaller skills-based practice, while the "playground" games force them to strategize and cooperate while developing important social skills and sportsmanship.

I would love to start the school year with some fresh equipment to motivate and inspire them to try new things in a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
