My Students
My third-grade students are all exceptional in many different ways. My students are creative and full of questions! They are motivated to investigate new ideas and problem solve. Each day, they join me in learning through hands-on, student-centered learning, and challenging activities to grow as future productive global citizens. My third graders are brave and take chances every day. They are truly wonderful!
Each student brings a unique perspective of the world with them as they join me in learning and growing together.
Students in my classroom have unique everyday experiences, cultural and language backgrounds and practices, interests, and individual learning needs. I have students who begin learning English as they enter the school system, as well as, students who grew up speaking English as their first language. In addition, students in my classroom join me with diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Students in my class are motivated to do well and want to succeed. I am incredibly lucky to have this group of students who are ready to learn and grow with me each day!
My Project
Students today, must keep up with the constant advancements in technology. Technology is changing everyday and I believe that this Qball is just the technology needed to ensure that all of my students' voices are heard. In our classroom, students are engaging in rich discussion every single day whether in math, reading, writing, or in unit studies. Having a Qball in our classroom will ensure that even the quietest students' voices can be heard by all. I strongly believe that it will encourage participation and heighten bravery.
As said on Qball's website, "Having Qball in the classroom sends a clear message to kids that their voice is worth hearing." This soft and durable microphone will give students a stronger, louder voice.
This Qball can be tossed, rolled, kicked, and more. There is no better microphone out there for a third grade classroom!
