My Project
Education should be a holistic experience that nurtures both the mind and the heart. My classroom philosophy centers on creating a safe, inclusive space where every student feels seen, valued, and capable of growth. The resources in this project reflect my commitment to fostering a calm, structured environment that supports social-emotional learning (SEL) and community building.
The Breathing Balls, Fidgets, and Sensory Tools will transform our Zen Den into a refuge where students can practice self-regulation and mindfulness.
This space aligns with my belief that learning extends beyond academics to include emotional well-being and self-reflection.
The Digital Wall Clock and Calendar will anchor our daily routines, promoting structure and time management — vital skills that help students feel secure and focused. The Folders, Markers, and Magnetic Holders will foster organization and independence, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning.
The Instax Camera and Photo Album will celebrate student voices, birthdays and create a visual record of our community. Representation matters, and displaying student achievements reinforces that they are seen, valued, and capable of making a positive impact.
The iPad will serve as a bridge to broader perspectives, facilitating SEL activities, interactive learning apps, and student-led projects.
Together, these resources will empower my students to grow academically, emotionally, and socially, equipping them with the skills to become compassionate, engaged citizens who uplift themselves and others.
