Help me give my students a place to charge their Chromebooks so that they can learn how to use the technology around them better.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. W.'s classroom raised $282
This project is fully funded
My Students
My class is a wonderful combination of children with moderate to severe disabilities in kindergarten through third grades. My aides and I work with them to build their academic and social skills so that they can be productive members of our school community, as well as their home communities. We strive to give them the foundation skills they need to become productive adults.
They love to learn new things and explore the world around them.
We participate in reading, writing, math, cooking, computers, art, and physical education activities throughout the day around our entire campus.
My Project
The students will be able to access a variety of online curriculums and learning sites by working on their Chromebooks. Most of the curriculum we use in Special Education is online. A majority of the time we can only go online as a whole group. The tablets we have allow the students to access websites and activities specifically matched to their goals.
We currently do not have a charging station that fits our classroom and is able to keep the tablets organized.
This unit will help the children learn how to be responsible for their particular tablet and will help keep the cords organized and the children safe from too many loose cords.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
