This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to give each student a composition notebook. Students will use this for in class notes, for brainstorming ideas and practicing the art of writing.
-This goal helps economically disadvantaged families get the supplies they need to be successful
-Daily writing exercises and note taking have been shown to greatly improve student's comprehension and interaction with content.
-Writing includes daily brainstorming, drafts of narratives and essay, in class exercises and activities.
-Interactive notebooks allow students to interact with the classroom content in more engaged ways, which yields better student outcome.
