Every Mathematician Needs a Calculator and a Pencil

My Project

I teach 7th graders Pre-Algebra. Our classroom doesn't have enough TI-30XS Scientific Calculators to make up a class set, so students must share. If every student can get a calculator into their hands and have pencils to write with, they can learn how to use the functions on the calculator and be able to do their math calculations much faster.

My goals for this project is to provide every student with a TI-30XS calculator and a pencil when they come into my room.

With the right tools, we can move along solving math problems and get more practice done in class.
