This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a low-income/high-poverty school in Los Angeles. At my school, 100% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Many of them are second language learners. Despite their circumstances, they are eager to learn and discover the world around them.
My students want to become better readers and writers.
They are the questioners who always try to discover how the world works. They are inquisitive and always asking questions. They are constantly trying to better their knowledge but they often lack the school supplies that they need. Your donation will help me get the supplies that my students need to be successful. We would use the color printer to print student work and anchor charts that my students can use throughout the year.
