This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day I have the joy of walking into a classroom and seeing 20 happy, smiling, faces. My students come to school each day just ready to take in every word and experience I have to offer them. Being an early childhood school we strive to make their first learning experiences as beneficial as possible.
Our school services children from all over the city of Chicago with unique abilities.
They come to us so we can bring out their full potential in all areas of life. As a special education teacher, it is my goal to meet every child’s needs and make sure they know they are loved.
My Project
Preschool students love being creative at school! Whether they are creating fun structures with blocks or being artists on paper, all children love to explore different art techniques and supplies. I am asking for interesting art supplies like sculpting foam, paint sticks, play dough and magnetic blocks that our students have never used before!
These new art supplies will bring their artistic creativity to an exciting new level.
I can not wait to see the affect these supplies will have on their learning and enthusiasm for school. Please consider helping every child be an artist.
