Help me give my students books that help give the foundation of learning, opportunity, and personal growth - since books open doors to imagination, knowledge, empathy, and critical thinking.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help my co-teacher and me acquire 2 books for our 8th grade classes. Access to books is one of the strongest predictors of a child's academic success - but many of underpriviledges children grow up in homes without a single book. Without access to reading materials, these children fall behind early, and many never catch up.
We're raising funds to provide high-quality, diverse, and engaging books to under-resourced children in our community.
These books will be placed directly into the hands of children who need them most—through schools, community centers, shelters, and after-school programs.
Our Goal is to raise this money to purchase and distribute 120 books (60 of each title) for our 8th grade classes. Every dollar will go toward purchasing books that are developmentally appropriate, culturally relevant, and designed to ignite a love for reading.
Your donation gives a child the opportunity to explore new worlds, build their vocabulary, grow their imagination, and gain the confidence they need to succeed in school—and in life.
A book may seem small, but to a child without one, it can mean everything.
