This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have been working around the clock building and coding their robots. Our students fall short in one aspect. We do not have a playing field to test the robot on. This has hindered their ability to further develop complex code as the vehicle behaves differently on the official playing playing versus linoleum tiles at school.
My students range in age from middle to high school.
This provides many mentorship opportunities for our students regardless of age. Everyone becomes an expert in their own field and share their knowledge with others.
Your donation will allow my students to test their equipment as larger schools with larger budgets have been doing for many years. Our students are eager to demonstrate their abilities on a level playing field.
