This project would serve all 3 Pre-K classrooms in our school building. We would build a universal haircare kit for the three classrooms. Sometimes even the littlest students need a hair redo or a freshen-up to feel and do their best! Sometimes it is as simple as helping children get their hair out of their face so they can become more engaged in their activity.
We can fulfill this need with basic hair care supplies, such as disposable brushes and elastics.
With cleanliness in mind, these disposable brushes are the best option. Once we use a brush we will label it with that child's name and it will become theirs for the remainder of the school year.
In Pre-Kindergarten kids play, play, play! Typically, after actively playing or having recess or nap time, students will ask teachers to fix their hair and we do not always have the resources to do so. These resources will help us create a loving environment where children can look and feel their best.
