Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
iPads have become an integral part of the classroom, especially in classrooms that serve students with learning differences and with limited opportunities to learn how to use technology to expand their education.
As an education specialist, these technologies offer multiple modalities to provide students with learning disabilities maximum access to grade level curriculum.
iPads have dictation and accessibility features that make it easy for students to express their thoughts. This helps expand the possibilities of them participating in grade level instruction and prevents students from falling behind.
By supporting this project, donors contribute to my professional growth and service to students at Miller Elementary at an integral transition period to middle school. Donor support will help support my ability to learn how to maximize the apps and possibilities an iPad can provide students.
