My Students
My first grade classroom is a place where students can come to learn to read and think together. As a teacher in a Title I school, I do everything in my power to build a strong foundation of skills to enable my students' success. They know that this is a place where they will be safe, loved, and encouraged.
At my school, we nurture, educate, and inspire students from various backgrounds and 99% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
Our students are eager and determined.
My Project
My students love math and are so eager for anything math related. I need this Daily Math Fluency Kit to help my students become more automatic with their math thinking. They will have hands-on, engaging, and predictable daily practice with these materials thanks to your help.
When students don't need to waste their brain power on simple computations, they can focus their energy on real math learning and understanding.
Daily fluency practice is essential for furthering our math learning. Children that use inefficient computation methods fall behind in math, so fluency is essential for their progression in math.
