Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn! These classroom essentials are more than just supplies—they are the building blocks of a successful school year. With access to these items, my students can develop independent skills and build early literacy and math foundations.

This project will help to build a nurturing environment where all students feel safe, confident, and ready to explore the world around them.

Having these essentials and supplies available to every child helps level the playing field, encourages independence, and supports hands-on, engaging learning experiences. For young learners, access to the right supplies is key to developing fine motor skills, early literacy, number sense, and social-emotional growth.

The classroom storage carts can be utilized in a variety of ways to enhance organization, mobility, and accessibility. My students are required to use headphones to support student learning, minimize distractions, and enhance engagement with digital content. Pockets charts will mainly be used for chaining, group work, centers, and sentence building. In my classroom, knick-knacks for the prize box are fun, inexpensive items that motivate and reward students for positive behavior, academic achievements, or participation.
