Help me give my students these essential hygiene products, healthy snacks, and socks so they are worry-free of certain issues that might inhibit their learning and continue to be great learners.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I see many students from kindergarten through 5th grade who for some reason or another, do not have the essentials that they need at home, which impacts their self-esteem wherever they go, especially in school. Their motivation to continue focusing in the classroom gets impacted by the lack of having enough food in their system, or not having the hygiene products they need to feel confident in the classroom. Not having these products can be a problem, and unfortunately, some families struggle financially to provide these essentials for their children. I do not want the lack of these to be the reason my students fail to succeed.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their confidence.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether they are hungry or worried that their hygiene is problematic.
