All of my students live in a large urban city in Michigan. We are a Title 1 school with 100% receiving reduced or free lunch. Here at our school there is something for everyone to do and feel successful at.
My students like to be actively engaged and try new things!
As their teacher, I like to provide a wide variety of learning materials to engage their learning. I like to facilitate new technology learning opportunities and my focus is on math and science.
My Project
These items will assist my students in keeping them organized and help them learn responsibilities. The notebooks will be used as journals. The dry erase markers will be used in center time. The stickers, pencils and jolly ranchers will be used for motivation.
The Math manipulatives are essential for solidifying the concepts we have learned thus far.
The fraction tiles and large dice are perfect for hands on learning at center time. The classroom will come alive with the new borders for our bulletin boards. Funding this project will make a huge difference in the learning and development of my students.
