Essentials for Hybrid Instruction

My Students

I work in West Philadelphia where the families have very limited resources to help support their children's literacy needs. After a year of not being in the building, my kids are so excited to jump back into learning but need some basic resources.

These kids need the essentials.

These students need everything from folders to pencils. Setting up a classroom in April is weird, but we can’t wait to get the ball rolling!

The students I teach are excited to learn and happy to be a part of our school community. However, materials and supplies are almost non-existent and need to be purchased by the teachers. Students here love to read and need all the support they can get.

My Project

It's the essentials that really matter as we teach through this pandemic. We really need to make sure our kids are safe and have clean classrooms as they come through the doors of our rooms. With these cleaning materials, I know that the surfaces of our desks, tables, and countertops will be safe.

It is of the utmost importance to me, my students, and their families that school is germ-free.

No one wants to take any chances and we need the supplies to do this. With these sprays, towels, and wipes I know that we have will have a place that allows us to learn in a healthy environment.
