This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I have chosen, such as clipboards, dry-erase boards, EXPO markers, zipper pouches, mesh zipper pouch bags, and book pouches are just a few of the supplies that will help my students next school year. These materials are essential because we are constantly moving around in the classroom, and need hands-on materials to help them grasp the concept that we are working on. However, school supplies are difficult for my students' parents to afford. In addition to the supplies above, I am requesting a pencil sharpener to aide with daily classroom needs, as well as, black party favor bags, other center games, and carpet marker spots for lining up and sitting on the carpet. Having each of these items will help with transitions to make the school day run smoothly.

The Lakeshore Touch and Match Sensory Math Cards, the Fidget game Sneaky Elves CVC sight words pop learn to spell, and Learning Resources Math Marks the Spot game will be a game changer for kids with disabilities, as well as, having vital hands-on materials for my students to enhance their learning after we have worked on our core material to review.

As a teacher, I am requesting these materials, as well as, felt pens, highlighters, card stock, construction paper, Air Wick refills, velcro dots, student number lines, and command strip refills. With a limited classroom budget, I cannot purchase these supplies that will last the year. This project will ensure that my students and I have quality resources that we will use every day of the school year!
