Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students at are unlike any students have ever met. Our students have so much personality and love for school. Despite these students' backgrounds and living situations they manage to come to school and succeed. These students are predominately Hispanic and most come from lower-income families. Our school is a Title I school that receives some support from the surrounding community. The community itself is very close and strives to do a lot for the students' needs.

The students at our school are simply the best!

They have so much pride in their community and their school and we want to be able to support them in all the areas of their life while they are at school.

My Project

These resources will help address our students' hygienic needs on all levels. Most of our students come from different backgrounds and means of living. Their families are often worried about meeting their essential needs that sometimes they are not able to provide for other needs such as deodorant, clean socks, etc.

By having these resources available for all students to have access to, it will provide our students with a sense of acknowledgement and support from their community and their school.

We would love to be able to fully stock our nurse's office with these supplies when situations arise, which they often do.
