Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These students are smart, active, and very curious about learning. My new learners are eager to continue their learning on how to read. These reading and writing tools contain wide variety of manipulatives.

Some items in this project include pop-it manipulatives, space sticks, and finger focus.

Students will use these tools for hands-on learning. For example, when teaching constant vowel constant words (bat/cat), students will push in the letters and practice reading these words. These items will help to make learning phonics fun and engaging. When using the finger focus, it will help my students be able to follow along while reading in a fun way.
