Essential Supplies

Help me give my students some essential supplies to increase students academic achievement while at the same time fostering their independence and responsibility.

My Project

To provide a more hands-on and personalized learning experience for my students and to help them hold themselves accountable, I would like to have some storage carts and organizers or utility carts with all the essential supplies such as pen/pencils, dry erase boards, timers, scissors, tissues, sticky notes, tape, erasers and more at the fingertips and ready to use at a moment's notice so there is no time to waste when my students meeting with small groups.

With these essential supplies, students can have a quick response system for ideas, discussions and questions during small group time.

Utility carts in the small group areas are a teacher’s best friend! Having these items within reach when in small groups is more efficient than getting up and walking across the classroom for whatever students need, so they will not waste their independent or group learning time. It doesn’t take up too much space but holds a ton of necessary stuffs for both teacher and students.

I also need some classroom cleaning supplies essentials such as tissues, paper towels, disinfecting wipes to help slow the spread of flu, through cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and objects that are touched often, such as desks, and hands-on learning items such as electronic math game, write and learn creative center, writing tablet, and math manipulatives, etc to help keep my students healthy.

With some classroom decorations such as bulletin board decor, wall papers and borders, I am trying make my classroom a welcoming, fun, effective and comfortable place for my students. I hope that they will enjoy coming to my classroom and learning something new and fun every day.
