This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I got the privilege to work with an energetic group of 4th graders. All my students are eager to learn, but their circumstances have made it more difficult for them to access the curriculum.

They all come from a low-income household and this hardship has made learning harder to access.

Internet access is difficult for most of my students and therefore are dependent on paper base packets I make and books the school provided for learning.

My Project

Having school supplies are essential during this time, specifically during distance learning. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to the same material. Half of my students have internet access, which means the other half base there learning on paper packets.

I serve a community where all students are low-income.

Therefore, not all parents can supply students with the materials needed to work. Your donations will give students basic materials like pencils, pens, paper, sharpeners, and folders needed to continue with work.

I feel this donation will go along way to support my students with their work across many subjects and projects. Thank you for your consideration.
