This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a high poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures: nuclear, single parent, foster, and migrant, to name a few.

My students love to be at school and enjoy learning, especially when the activities are hands-on.

Many of my students are English Language Learners that attend a public school in the South Central Los Angeles area. They are always excited to experience any kind of technology that I'm able to bring to my class.

My Project

Due to the recent budget cuts in the state of CA, our school's budget has been decreased as well. As a result, I have a limited amount of copy paper on hand. On a daily basis, I use copy paper for my classroom for classwork, projects, and homework.

Due to the daily usage of copy paper on site, I would like to request that paper is donated to my classroom, so I can continue to work efficiently without feeling limited in the amount of copies I'm allowed to make.

Please help me get some copy paper in my classroom so that my students do not have to worry about having handouts, readings and tests printed on paper they can keep. I am also requesting dry erase markers and chart markers. These markers will help with presentations in class. The more colorful the better. Using different colors motivates my students to do better.

With this donation you will be helping many students follow along with the information I am presenting.
