My Students
My students are creative, clever, and very enthusiastic about learning. The majority of my students read below grade level. Due to schools closing because of COVID-19, the upcoming school year students will be given the option of virtual learning or attend school with social distancing precautions. They would benefit from a variety of personal classroom supplies to help not only provide materials at home for virtual learners but also decrease the number of germs being passed inside the classroom setting. Working at a Title 1 school this presents a challenge, as most of my students do not have access to these supplies.
My Project
Help me give my students these basic classroom materials which allow them to become more organized and productive students. Returning this year will be equally stressful, as many families have had their family income decreased by the COVID-19 shutdowns.
The children will be able to focus on the learning at hand instead of spending valuable time searching for erasers, crayons, or scissors to complete an assignment both at home virtually and at school.
