Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are bright, caring of one another and eager to learn. They possess innate leadership skills and are resilient in the face of challenges. They are deserving of adequate and engaging school supplies that will facilitate learning at home.

My Project

With students learning from home in the fall, it is imperative that they are equipped with supplies and learning tools that will help them do just that.

These supplies will help to provide students with a more balanced distance learning experience by incorporating hands-on activities in addition to online activities.

Supplies such as color pencils, construction paper, watercolor paints and watercolor paper will facilitate the incorporation of art. Dice, individual white boards and dry erase markers will serve as math tools for more engaging math activities. Flair pens will help to continue our writing workshop curriculum outside of the classroom.
