Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, my goal is to foster growth mindsets with my kiddos! My students generally live below poverty levels and are learning English for the first time. These supplies are essential to every classroom, but are particularly essential for us because their parents are unable to make these purchases for them.

I’m not a first-year teacher, but I certainly feel like one because it’s my first year in 3rd grade.

I do know, however, that 3rd graders need multiple opportunities and styles to communicate learning. We plan to use these supplies to read, write, and draw our way to growth and success.
