This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need materials to use in the counseling office. Unlike teachers, counselors don't get a curriculum or budget for materials, and we need them too! My students are bright, curious and creative, and need games, and materials to help them thrive in the counseling setting!

Your generosity will go towards games for students to develop their emotions and social skills, supports for them when upset and basic supplies like tissues to wipe those tears!

I will be using these materials for students with mandated counseling through their IEPS, to help them play appropriately and develop coping strategies. I also have many students who come to talk and will use these materials to help regulate them and help them to express themeselves.
