Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me keep my students organized with color-coded folders. A key element in students' success is teaching them to be accountable. I help my students stay organized and keep up with their assignments by providing them with specific, colored folders for each subject. Neurodivergent students struggle with organization and can become overstimulated with too many patterns and designs. Providing a structured classroom allows them to feel in control of their environment and takes pressure off their mental load.

The grid math journals help them organize their notes, and skills such as regrouping, two-digit multiplication, and shapes.

The take-home folders have become an essential tool to keep parents involved in their child's school life.
