This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in alternative education and are all trying to still make it to graduation even though traditional high school didn't suit their learning styles. They are smart in different ways and are sweet and kind.

I believe having essential oils diffused in class will help them concentrate and focus and will impact each student's mood.

They move around the room, work together, and are stimulated by hands-on items. I not only want to diffuse oils in the room, but I'd like to teach them about oils for their lifelong learning. Maybe we can get into creating our own oils from plants in the future.
