My Students
The students at my school come from a diverse community. Our goal as a community and staff is to immerse students in the different cultures that our students come from. We have a large ELL population and we know it is important that they learn English, but also keep their home language strong, too.
The 1st grade students are hardworking, respectful and willing to try difficult tasks in order to achieve a set goal.
Our school serves students K-5 and provides a well rounded education. All the teachers strive to do what they can and will take extra steps to help their students. About 37% of the students are on free or reduced lunch.
My Project
I am asking for white board, markers and erasers to engage students in everyday learning activities. These materials will be used on a daily basis as they are essential to the classroom. We have old and dirty white boards and it would be great to get new ones! The erasers will work better than the tissues that we use right now and the thin markers will allow students to write more on the white board. These materials will be put to good use in the classroom. Thank you for your support to these students. Your donation will get good use.
