Help me give my students essential items such as masks, hand sanitizer and wipes to keep us safe as we return to school in person during the COVID-19 pandemic.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Cregan's classroom raised $238

My Students
My self contained classroom is made up of learners with disabilities in 3rd and 4th grade. Our students need visuals, interactive methods of teaching and small group support and technology to be successful.
My students are creative, animated and above all, love learning.
They show an eagerness and excitement for acquiring new skills and have grown in countless ways, both academically and socially. I've been lucky enough to see that students have gained confidence and are ready to take on new challenges and risks thanks to the support of our donors!
Our Title 1 New York City public school is in Queens. More than half of our students are classified as ENL learners and they receive services such as occupational therapy, speech therapy and counseling.
My Project
COVID 19 has turned our world upside down. This coming fall, teachers are going to be facing an enormous amount of challenges in order to keep themselves and students safe, while giving children resources they deserve, a rigorous education and the social-emotional support they need. This will not be an easy task, but I will do everything I can in order to support my students.
I'm requesting essential items like hand sanitizer, gloves for staff members and face masks.
You might think that these items are provided by the school, but they are not. Adequate PPE has been promised for staff but inevitably when a students mask falls on the floor, breaks or is unwearable, I want to be able to be prepared to provide it. Also, we usually get hand sanitizer from families at the beginning of school but it has been hard to find and may pose an economic burden for struggling families. Seeing that we do not have sinks in our classroom and bathrooms are shared with students from many other classrooms, it is imperative to have enough.
New York City Public School teachers are NOT receiving any money for classroom resources and supplies this coming school year. Now more than ever, we need additional resources to support our students. Please help me, help my students, by donating to this proposal. Your donations are truly appreciated. Thank you.
