Essential Equipment for Intensive Needs Learners

My Project

I have several students in my special education preschool classroom who have an intensive level of needs. Many of these students were born with multiple disabilities that hinder their ability to move, talk, play and interact with others. Typical toys and materials are not accessible to them due to their disabilities.

The items in my project go beyond supplies – it transforms our learning space.

Adaptive tools, such as a desk or switch toys, promote inclusivity, enabling every child to actively engage in learning. The play-set enhances physical and cognitive development, and the foldable wagon provides inclusivity so that my students can join and play with their peers outside at recess. Any donations will help my students enrich their learning and promote a more inclusive environment.
