My Project
In 5th and 6th grade science class, students are developing important note taking skills. I really try to make note taking a lot more fun and engaging by encouraging the kids to use different colors in their notes.
Colorful markers can really make their science notes pop!
Along with simply taking notes, I like to have the kids draw pictures in their notebooks to help them remember key content and vocabulary. Students find note taking a lot less tedious when they are able to use bright colors in their notebooks.
With all the writing that takes place in science, pencils are desperately needed on a regular basis. Gone are the days where students bring a pencil case to class. That is why I am looking to get such a large supply of pencils to keep on hand!
